Black and white family portrait … Any advice to seek the best?
Let's take a family portrait taken professionally and we 're leaning towards white and black. There will be 8 of us in the picture. My question … What is the picture black and white in different colors how are represented? If images must be in color, of course, all the clothes in the colors that are flattering for us … is the same for black and white? No photo color-coded and others? Is it better to wear clothes that contrast with your complexion and hair? No bright colors differently in the photo B & W tones duller? I ask because my daughter and I have blond hair and fair skin (especially her) and I fear we will see more "washed" … But none of us looks good on dark clothes do more. What about makeup … would you do differently than you would for a color photo? Tips ideas, tips, suggestions? Thank you!
Speaking the photographer before making final decisions. In black and white is great, but wear black and white can create problems of high contrast, while any light color that is used is shown as white, but the contrast would be white. This will be a challenge for the photographer using the lights when the differences are so great at what you wear – you can not add the white lighting, but this needed to see the details in black. White would be very difficult for me and that could easily dominate all the faces – faces that appear as shades of gray. We suggest you choose the dark clothes and light, not all the same color, black and white. Look at some websites where photographers use photography in black and white – you'll see what I mean.
